Dopo tanto rumoreggiare intorno ad alcune possibili liste di canzoni, comparse su internet nelle settimane scorse, corredate da video (a questo punto un fake) che mostrava velocemente dei titoli, possiamo definitivamente ritenere la lista precedentemente pubblicata come errata (tranne qualche titolo effettivamente azzeccato) e goderci i titoli definitivi. Harmonix ha anche rassicurato sul fatto che sarà possibile esportare la maggior parte delle canzoni dal disco di Rock Band per upgradarle e suonarle con Rock Band 2, quindi fondamentalmente è stata confermata la retrocompatibilità di cui si parlava già da tempo..
